Bianca Schimizzi – Director & Lead Instructional Designer

Bianca is the Director of DLD. Over 20 years of Senior Learning, Development and Instructional Designer roles have shaped her expertise in project management of people and learning solutions to support change initiatives. Bianca has worked in Senior Learning & Development roles at ANZ, GE Money, Esanda and Village Roadshow. She has particular strengths in working with stakeholders to determine and influence change impacts on learning needs and driving support for solutions developed. In addition to a variety of technical, transformation and process-driven projects, Bianca has built capability frameworks and managed the instructional design of programs in the broad areas of Sales, Service, Leadership and Coaching.

Michael Peart – Managing Partner & Instructional Designer

Michael is the Managing Partner and a Senior Instructional Designer at DLD. He has 20 years of experience in a variety of senior Human Resource, Organisational Development, Learning and Development, Sales/Marketing, Instructional Design and General Management roles. Michael has a wide range of expertise, which enables him to focus on building learning solutions that effectively support business change. Organisations in which Michael has worked in senior roles include VECCI (Victorian Employers Chamber of Commerce and Industry), Village Roadshow and Kangan Institute. Michael has particular strengths in project management to lead and deliver on complex change and transformation projects – incorporating people, process and technology.

Tarsh has been working with DLD since early 2018 as a Senior Instructional Designer. She has over 10 years experience in HR related roles, with focused skills in early talent development and executive leadership development. Tarsh comes from the corporate banking sector, where she developed learning solutions for engagement and change initiatives.

Bec has been creating beautiful learning design for over 20 years now. Combine this with her degree in Human Services and her fascination with human behaviour and psychology, what results is a mixed bag of unique and powerful skills that can change behaviour through learning.

Bec has worked with some of Australia’s premium blue-chip brands to create real change. She has also applied her skills in government departments, the private sector, community, and public services and more recently with the learning studio at Deloitte. This breath of experience and exposure means she brings learning design that is both thoughtful, impactful and proven to work in some of the toughest settings.

Nicole is a HR, learning and vocational education professional with 25 years of experience, working in complex operational, project and bid environments across the national construction and railway industries.

As the founding CEO of one of Australia’s largest enterprise RTOs, Nicole directed the establishment of a multi-million dollar, award-winning training facility, delivering learning solutions to drive operational performance and enhance employee engagement.

Lara joined DLD in 2021 and brings with her many years of experience within the medical sector. A qualified medical doctor, she has worked in clinical roles, public health and in medical communications within the government and commercial sectors in Australia and Europe. With experience in writing, editing and reviewing, Lara is well-placed to create and adapt medical and scientific materials for a range of audiences.

Will has been working with DLD since early 2023 as a Senior Instructional Designer, bringing with him over 10 years of experience in Learning and Development. Will started out as Secondary School Educator, focussing on teaching VCE Physics, Chemistry and Mathematic subjects. He then began working in Professional Services with a focus on Insurance.

Will has skills in digital learning, professional development, and sales methodology. Will has managed multiple Learning and Development projects relating to fast-changing and heavily regulated industries, change management, client-focused approach to selling and many more.

Daniel – Senior Instructional Designer

For over two decades, Daniel has dedicated himself to not just educating but inspiring and engaging individuals at a deep level, with the idea that it’s not about how much you can learn but about how much you care. His motivation lies in coaching individuals to develop resilience and strength across the emotional, intellectual, and physical spectrums of their lives.

Leah has been working with DLD since 2016 as an Instructional Designer. She has over 20 years of experience in various Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Learning and Development, and Instructional Design roles. Most recently, she has been contracting in the Victorian Government sector as a Senior Change Consultant on digital transformation projects.

Leah has a proven track record in successfully developing learning solutions and executing organisational change projects. From working with a diverse range of large market-leading, multinational, and global organisations, she has gained valuable insights and expertise in developing learning solutions. This broad experience enables her to successfully work at both a strategic and operational level, consulting with a diverse range of senior stakeholders and SMEs to effectively translate organisational strategy & business goals into tangible learning solutions.
